Straight answers

The questions every tradie asks me.

You’ve had ten calls from marketers this month. Fair enough if you’re sceptical. Here’s what I tell everyone.

I'm flat out. Why would I want more work?

Most good tradies are. This isn't about random work. It's about being the only business in your trade whose phone rings when someone in your area needs it fixed now, so you can cherry-pick the best jobs and let the rest go.

Do you only do plumbers and sparkies?

No. That's where I started, and it's where the numbers are most proven. The same machine now runs for handymen, builders doing repairs, roofers and more, and I'm opening it up to glaziers, heat pump techs, drainlayers, gas fitters and painters. If people in your area search for your trade when something's broken, I can build it. Check your area below.

How is this different from the big lead directories?

They send the same lead to five tradies and you compete on price. I send every lead from your page to one tradie. You. No quotes, no bidding, no race to the bottom.

I've been burned by lead gen companies before.

Heard that more times than I can count. Most of the bad ones charge for unverified leads or send the same call to five people. I do neither. Exclusive to you, real tracked calls, and you can listen to the recordings yourself.

    What's the catch?

Two things, and I'd rather you know now. One: exclusivity goes both ways. You commit to taking the calls when they come in, including after hours. I can't have customers ringing and getting voicemail. Two: three months minimum, because Google Ads takes time to optimise and I need that runway to deliver.

    What counts as a lead?

A real person in your area with a real job, calling or enquiring through your page. Parts enquiries, wrong numbers and people asking for a hardware store's number don't count. I listen to every call, so the tally is honest.

What kind of jobs will I get?

Jobs someone needs done now or soon: a burst pipe, no power, a leaking roof, a broken window, a fence down, a door that won't shut, a heat pump that's died. Maintenance and repairs, not full renovations. You tell me on the onboarding call which jobs you want more of, and I tune the ads to match.

What if the leads don't come?

Then your month gets extended until they do. I don't start month two until I've delivered what I said I would. I'll also tell you what I'm changing: rotating ad copy, tightening keywords, adjusting bids. Short message, no excuses.

I'm already running ads or on another lead service.

All good. Plenty of partners run multiple channels. This isn't a replacement, it's an additional channel that's exclusive to you, on a page that isn't tied to your existing website.

How fast will I see leads?

Ads go live within 24 hours of sign-up. First calls usually land in the first 2 to 3 days. The first two weeks are the tuning phase, and consistent flow builds from there.

Which areas do you take on?

Cities and regions with enough people searching to fill the numbers. Big cities get split into a few areas, smaller cities are one area. Check yours below and I'll tell you straight if it's open.

    What I don’t do.

Half of trusting a lead gen offer is knowing what’s not in it. Here’s mine.

    ×

    No nine-quote reno bidding wars

If I sent you full-reno leads you'd be competing with nine other blokes and you'd tell me my leads are rubbish. I send urgent, maintenance and repair jobs, where the homeowner wants it fixed, not quoted five times.

    ×

    No shared leads

Every lead goes to one tradie. I never sell the same call to two businesses. Ever.

    ×

No second business in your trade in your area

One plumber, one sparky, one handyman, one roofer per area. When your spot is filled, your competitors can't buy in.

    ×

    No call centre

Calls forward straight to your mobile. Nobody sits between you and the customer.

    ×

    No agency layers

No account managers, no ticket queue. I build it, I run it, I answer the phone.

    ×

    No long lock-in

Three months so Google can learn. After that, month to month with 14 days notice.
